My 2016 Hair Regimen - New products & Tools


So it turns out the last time I did a post on my regimen was back in 2012! Regimen Update Damn!

Well, a lot has changed with my regimen since that post, the majority of my products have changed and even my wash routine.

I always find these posts interesting to read and to also refer back to in the future. If this is your kind of post then stay awhile to see what's working for me and maybe you will take away some tips.

Since moving to New York, I now relax my hair at a salon, so my mum is no longer relaxing my hair. I found a great hairdresser I trust here and over the last year she has given me great results.

I wash my hair once a week, I always start by sectioning my hair in 4 sections, to detangle I apply coconut oil to each section and then comb through, this helps ease out any tangles.

I then proceed to wash, I wash my hair in the shower still in the 4 sections, I shampoo once or twice and as of recent I use a scalp massager. I then towel dry the hair and apply my mix of deep conditioner.

Meal Prep - My Experience & Tips


At the beginning of this month, I wrote down my goals and decided to really get serious with my nutrition. I am sure you have heard Nutrition plays about 80% of your overall health and fitness, fitness been only about 20%. What this means is if your nutrition is not good then you can work out all you want but you will find it hard to meet the goals you set.

This month I have decided to really get serious, kick my urges of those my short-term pleasures in a big way and focus on what's important to me, and that's remaining consistent with a healthy lifestyle, working out and eating right.
